Club meetings are held at May Garden Restaurant on the 1st & 3rd Wednesdays at 7.30 pm. Held 12 dinner meetings of which 5 were board meetings.Average attendance is 75%

19-08-09-Members helped to sell RM1,500 raffles tickets for Mt Miriam Hospital, Penang.
07-11-09-Treated 49 inmates/staff of Ramakrishna Orphanage to a Deepavali lunch at Kelab Ilham.
Lifer Tony Ng, Victor and Edward provided for the transport. Lifer Andrew Ong made an
on-the-spot donation to the Orphanage.
14-11-09 -Apex Penang adopted 4 inmates at the Cheshire Home Foster Parents’ Day.
16-11-09 -Apex Penang assisted the estate of the Late Lifer Lim Chin Chai to distribute RM3,110/=
to 4 old folks homes.
18-11-09Apexian Edward Mai made a donation of 35,000 Peso to Apex Leganes Club 45,
Philippines fortheir clocktower project.
18-09-09Apex Penang and Apexian Edward Mai jointly donated RM300 to Jireh Home, Kulim.
03-02-10Apexian Edward Mai and a friend of Apex, Mr Richard Goh, jointly pledged to donate
100,000 Peso to Apex Leganes Club 45 for 3 projects to be undertaken there.

International relations
11-08-09 toThe Late Lifer Lim Chin Chai had home hosted 4 Apexians from Apex Leganes Club 45.
14-08-09Apex Penang organized dinners and sight-seeing. Apexian Edward Mai paid for most of
their expenses.
17-09-09Condolence messageswere received from most local Apex Clubs and the National Board.
Similarly, Apexians from as far asSingapore, Philippines, Australiaand the Apex Global
Chairman sent their condolences to the family of the Late Lifer Lim Chin Chai. Some Clubs
sent wreaths as well.

Minutes of last meeting was read and adopted by Lifer Tony Ng and seconded by Lifer Andrew Ong.
1.0 Bursary 1.1 Nothing was transpired since Balan was not present. He was supposed to get further information regarding Sek Jen keb (Tamil) Mayfield.
2.0 Service 2.1 Lifer Andrew brought up matter on Charity Car Wash. Victor advised that the project will be temporarily shelved until further notice, due to some problems with car wash owners.
3.0 Percapita 3.1 Members were reminded again to settle their percapita.
4.0 General 4.1 30/01/10 7.00pm, Dinner Invitation from Edward, at Sarkies, E&O Hotel, Penang. It is only for Pg Apexians and family. 4.2 03/02/10 Dinner meeting at Midlands Restaurant, Penang co-incides with Edward’s birthday.
