MINUTES OF 836th MEETING OF APEX CLUB OF
Attendance: President Andrew Ong, Jane Chan, Victor Corbett, Anthony Jayakumar, Jason Ang, Angie Low, Mike Ong & Lifer Tony Ng .
Apologies: Gurmeet Singh, Ai Choo, Edward Mai, Balan & IPP Lim Chin Chai.

1.0 Confirmation of minutes
1.1 The 835th Meeting Minutes was proposed for adoption by Victor Corbett &
seconded by Jason Ang.
2.0 Service Report
2.1 On the Food Charity Carnival from 29th to 30th Nov 2008, the latest ticket sales
by Apexians has increased to RM8,050/=; Terrie sold all RM500, Lifer Lim took
up another RM50 which he donated for volunteers, Lifer Seah was allocated
RM200 to be given him through Edward Mai.
2.2 Mike Ong reported that Pastor Hon confirmed that Relau Rumah Charis was
able to sell all RM10,000/= worth of tickets allocated to them. Rumah Charis
shall be given 15% of that sales proceeds as a donation.
2.3 With the exception of a few, most Apexians had paid for their tickets to Jane
Chan.
2.4 Jason, Mike, Angie Low and some 5 volunteers from
will help at the Food Fair. The other members agreed to patronize the Fair.
2.5 Members agreed to do weeding at Cheshire Home after the Food Fair project.
3.0 Promoting Apex to private colleges/secondary schools
3.1 Members agreed to always keep this project e.g. KDU, in mind.
3.2 Mike Ong informed that there is a possibility to promote Apex to Chung Ling
High School.
4.0 Adoption of residents/ Foster Parents’ day at Cheshire Home
4.1 President Andrew Ong, Mike and Victor represented Apex at the function on
8/11/08 at 4pm.
5.0 General
5.1 Mike Ong informed that TNB wants our application to transfer meter at Club
House to be attached with our ROS certificate, which is missing.
5.2 Angie Low to take note of 15/4/2009 deadline submission of Bursary documents
to National Board for next year.
5.4 Apexians intending to go for the
liaise with Edward for early booking of flight.
5.5 Edward intends to organize an overland trip to Chiang Mai with IRM Group
next year.
5.6 Fines collection was RM21/=. Apportioned RM11/= to Travel Fund, RM10/= to
Fines A/c.
